Product Description
ORAJET® 3951HT High-Tack Cast PVC Digital Media – 2 Mil Premium Cast Gloss White with Grey High-Tack Adhesive – The Long-Term Hard-to-Stick Solution
7-Year Unprinted Durability | Grey High-Tack Adhesive | ORALIFE™ Component System Warranty | Splice-Free Guarantee
ORAJET® 3951HT is the top of the ORAFOL high-tack lineup — a 2-mil premium cast PVC film that brings cast conformability to substrates that normally reject adhesive altogether. Where the calendered high-tack films handle flat and semi-flat work, 3951HT wraps compound curves, recessed panels, and textured plastic while holding a permanent grey high-tack bond at 6.4 lb/in on stainless.
This is the film for full-coverage powersports work on polyethylene and polypropylene: UTV side-by-sides, snowmobiles, ATV bodywork, plastic coolers, and heavy powder-coated construction equipment. Prints on latex, solvent, eco-solvent, UV curable, UV-Gel, and resin systems, and is backed by the ORAFOL® (OCS) ORALIFE™ Component System Warranty when paired with a recommended ORAGUARD® laminate.
What Makes This the Premium Tier
- Cast construction — 2-mil premium cast PVC conforms to complex contours and recovers without the shrinkage of a calendered film. Dimensional stability holds under 0.008" in length.
- 7-year unprinted durability — the longest-lived film in the ORAFOL high-tack range.
- Grey solvent-based high-tack adhesive — 6.4 lb/in on stainless, with the grey layer blocking dark substrate color so printed whites stay clean.
- Broadest ink compatibility — latex, solvent, eco-solvent, UV curable, UV-Gel, and resin.
- 39°F minimum application temperature — installs in cool shop and shoulder-season conditions.
- ORALIFE™ Component System Warranty — system-level coverage when matched with an approved ORAGUARD overlaminate.
Applications
- UTV side-by-side and snowmobile full wraps
- ATV bodywork and dirt bike graphics on textured plastic
- Plastic coolers, kayaks, and molded polyethylene equipment
- Automotive wheel covers and trim components
- Industrial powder-coated construction equipment
- Long-term industrial graphics and OEM identification on hard-to-stick surfaces
- Portable sanitation and rental fleet where a multi-year graphic life is required
Durability by Climate Zone
Printed with OEM latex, resin, solvent, eco-solvent, or conformable UV curable / UV-Gel inks and laminated with Premium ORAGUARD® 290, 290GF, or 293, expect:
| Climate Zone | Expected Durability |
|---|---|
| Zone 1 | Up to 7 years |
| Zone 2 | Up to 5 years |
| Zone 3 | Up to 3 years |
Climate zones reflect UV load and heat exposure. The desert Southwest falls in the highest-exposure zone — talk to us about laminate selection before quoting a multi-year graphic life on an Arizona, Nevada, or southern New Mexico install.

Printing & Application Notes
Ink Drying
Use ORAFOL ICC profiles from orafol.com. Allow solvent-based inks to dry a minimum of 24 hours — 48 to 72 hours preferred — at 70°F before cutting the graphic or applying a laminate. Trapped solvent is the leading cause of edge lift and laminate failure on high-tack media.
Surface Preparation
Clean the substrate thoroughly of dust, grease, and any contamination that could interfere with adhesion. Freshly lacquered or painted surfaces must be fully cured, and the compatibility of specific lacquers and paints should be tested before production. Structured and textured films are more sensitive than smooth films in both processing and cleaning, and require more frequent cleaning in service.
Safety & Compliance
- Composition: PVC film, polyacrylate adhesive, PE-coated paper liner
- No hazardous substances or REACH Candidate List substances above 0.1% (w/w) in film and adhesive
- RoHS compliant per EU Directive 2011/65
- Not classified as a dangerous product for transport
- Waste classification similar to household waste; recycle per local regulation
- Avoid prolonged direct skin contact with the exposed tacky adhesive surface
