Privacy Policy
Effective August 4, 2026. We may update this policy; the date above tells you when it last changed.
This policy explains what information Kirin Global Supplies collects when you use kgsupplies.com or buy from us, what we do with it, and what choices you have. It applies to this website and to our dealings with customers and prospective customers. We are a wholesale distributor selling to businesses, not to the general public.
1. Information you give us
- Account and order information — name, business name, billing and shipping addresses, email, phone number, and your order history.
- Payment information — you enter card details directly with our payment providers, PayPal and QuickBooks Payments, either at checkout on this site or through a secure payment link we send you. We do not take card numbers by phone or email, and we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
- Saved payment methods — wholesale account customers may choose to save a payment method so it can be used on future orders. This is optional. Saved payment methods are held and encrypted by PayPal or QuickBooks Payments under their own security controls; nothing is stored on our website or our systems. You can ask us to remove a saved payment method at any time. Saved payment methods are not offered on retail transactions.
- Credit application information, if you apply for open account terms.
- Tax exemption and resale certificates, where you provide them.
- Messages you send us — through our contact, quote request, and demo request forms, by email, or by phone.
- Mailing list sign-ups, if you subscribe.
2. Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our ecommerce platform and Google Analytics collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and the dates and times of your visits. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
Google Analytics is provided by Google and operates under Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on.
3. How we use information
- To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders
- To provide customer service and answer your questions
- To set up and manage accounts, including credit review where you apply for terms
- To calculate shipping and arrange delivery
- To meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations
- To detect and prevent fraud and misuse of the site
- To improve the website and our product range
- To send marketing emails, where you have subscribed — see section 6
4. Who we share information with
We share information with service providers who need it to do work for us, and we require them to protect it. These include:
- Our ecommerce platform and hosting provider
- Payment processors — PayPal and QuickBooks Payments, each under their own privacy policy
- Shipping carriers and freight lines — UPS, Elite Delivery of Arizona, and the LTL freight carriers we use receive the name, address, and phone number needed to deliver your order. If you ship on your own UPS or FedEx account, that carrier receives it too.
- Constant Contact, which sends our marketing email and holds subscriber names and email addresses
- Google Analytics, which receives website usage data as described in section 2
- Professional advisers — accountants, auditors, and lawyers
We also share information where the law requires it, in response to lawful requests, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or restructuring of the business.
Equipment financing
If you apply for equipment financing, you apply directly with a third-party lender through their own application. Those lenders are independent of us and handle your information under their own privacy policies. We are not a lender and do not make credit decisions.
We do not sell or share your information for advertising
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not run advertising, retargeting, or remarketing tags on this site. We do not rent or trade customer lists.
Please do not send card numbers by email or read them to us over the phone. Email is not a secure channel, and we do not want your card number in our inbox or our notes. Ask us for a secure payment link instead — you enter the card directly with PayPal or QuickBooks Payments, and it never passes through us.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep you logged in, remember your cart, and understand how the site is used.
Essential and functional
Required for the store to work. Blocking these will break your cart, your login, or checkout.
- SHOP_SESSION_TOKEN — keeps your session active while you shop
- fornax_anonymousId — identifies an anonymous session before you log in or check out
- XSRF-TOKEN — security token that protects against cross-site request forgery
- STORE_VISITOR — recognizes returning visitors
Preferences
- SHOP_PREFS — remembers your store display settings
- currency — remembers the currency you selected
Analytics
- _ga and _gid — Google Analytics identifiers, used to measure traffic and site performance
Our payment providers may also set their own cookies during checkout, under their own privacy policies.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Blocking them may stop parts of the site, including your cart and account, from working.
6. Marketing emails
If you subscribe to our mailing list, we send product news, promotions, and occasional company updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping notices, and invoices.
Our marketing email is sent through Constant Contact. Those emails include promotions and product information from the manufacturers and brands we distribute, alongside our own. We send those messages ourselves — we do not give your email address to those companies.
7. Data retention
We keep order and account records for seven years, which covers our tax, accounting, and audit obligations. We may keep information longer where a longer period is required by law, or where it relates to an open dispute or claim.
Marketing subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Other websites
Our site links to manufacturer sites, lender applications, and social media. Once you leave kgsupplies.com, this policy no longer applies and the other site's policy governs. We do not control those sites.
11. Your privacy rights
We sell and ship nationwide, including California. Please advise which state privacy laws apply given our volume and data practices, and draft the corresponding rights, disclosures, and request mechanisms — including any "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" requirement if ad tags are in use. Please also confirm whether a B2B-only seller changes the analysis. The previous version of this page cited the UK Data Protection Act 1998 and referenced a fee for data requests; none of that should carry over.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted here.
