Copper Crest L500G-UV is a 3 mil polymeric gloss clear overlaminate with extra UV absorption — built to protect large format inkjet work and formulated specifically for the UV-cured prints that give ordinary laminates trouble. 5 year UV rating, aggressive clear adhesive, and a smooth kraft liner that runs clean through the laminator.

Overview
A laminate has one job: keep the print underneath looking the way it did the day it came off the printer. L500G-UV does it with a 75 micron polymeric soft-PVC face carrying elevated UV absorbers, so the film takes the sun's punishment instead of your ink. Gloss clear finish deepens color saturation and adds the wet-look shine customers expect on fleet and premium signage.
The UVP3 adhesive is a transparent, solvent-free waterborne acrylic engineered across every common ink chemistry — and specifically for UV-cured inks, where thicker cured ink layers can cause bonding and silvering problems with general purpose laminates. At 16 N/25 mm it grabs harder than the typical overlaminate, which is what you want when the laminate is the layer taking the abrasion, chemicals and pressure washing.

Each roll ships individually boxed and labeled. Store rolls horizontally on the core, or standing on end in the original carton, in a clean dry area away from direct sunlight.
Lamination Tips
- Let solvent and eco-solvent prints outgas fully before laminating — typically 12 to 24 hours depending on ink load and coverage.
- Laminate at room temperature. Cold film and cold rollers are the most common cause of silvering and edge lift.
- Use moderate, even roller pressure. Excess pressure stretches the polymeric face and shows up later as tunneling.
- Allow the laminated graphic to rest before cutting so the adhesive can wet out.
