The Allanson ColorMix RGB Bundle (ACLW-RGB3-80) is a complete color-changing lighting kit in one box: 80 RGB3 modules, the 12V power supply to run them, a Wi-Fi controller, and a power amplifier for when the job grows. Everything is matched and loaded correctly out of the carton, so you are not sizing a supply or hunting for a compatible controller on the day of install.
At 2.5 modules per foot, 80 modules covers roughly 32 feet of letter or cabinet run. The customer picks colors and programs from a phone app. No DMX console, no programming software, no laptop on site.

The supply is fully loaded at 80 modules. 57.6W of a 60W supply leaves no room to add even one more module to this circuit. If the job needs a longer run, add the second circuit through the included amplifier with its own 60W supply — do not tap more modules onto the first one.

Controller
The Wi-Fi controller runs up to 80 RGB3 modules or 12 ft of RGB SkyLine rigid border tubing on its own. It is a stand-alone unit with no DMX network behind it — the customer connects with the smartphone app and controls the sign directly.

Walls, metal cabinets and raceways all cut into wireless range. Plan the controller location where the customer will actually stand to use it, not wherever the wire happens to end.
Mounting and environment
The modules are IP67 rated and hold up to normal weather exposure in a sign cabinet or channel letter.
- Not suitable for submerged applications.
- Not suitable for direct exposure to prolonged flowing or dripping water.
- The controller and power supply are not weatherproof. Mount them inside the cabinet, in a raceway, or in a suitable enclosure.
Operating range runs from -30°C to +60°C, which covers Arizona summer cabinet temperatures and high-desert winter nights alike.

Not on the same circuit — 80 modules already draws 57.6W against a 60W supply. To extend, run the second circuit off the included power amplifier with an additional 60W supply and up to 80 more modules. It plays the same effects in sync.
The Wi-Fi controller in this bundle is a stand-alone, non-DMX unit. If the job needs to be part of a DMX network, or needs multiple zones running different programs, you want a DMX master controller and sub-controllers instead. Call us and we will spec the right path.
The bundle is controlled through the smartphone app. A wireless touch-panel remote is available separately if the customer wants a physical control at the counter — ask us to add one.
The modules are IP67 and fine in a cabinet or letter. The controller and power supply are not weatherproof and must be housed. Do not mount either where water can reach them.
Yes. Allanson does custom programming from vector artwork. Send us the job and we will start that process with them.
