Product Description
Metamark MetaCast MDC XR Printable Vehicle Wrap Kit
Create professional, long-lasting vehicle graphics with the Metamark MetaCast MDC XR Printable Vehicle Wrap Kit. This complete matched wrap system combines premium cast printable vinyl with MetaGuard MGC cast overlaminate for full vehicle wraps, partial wraps, fleet graphics and other demanding applications.
MetaCast MDC XR features Metamark’s advanced MetaGlide XR adhesive technology. The grey solvent-based adhesive offers optimized repositionability and adhesion, while its structured micro-channel liner helps release trapped air during installation. This allows installers to position and apply graphics more efficiently while maintaining dependable performance over complex curves, deep channels and recesses.
The included MetaGuard MGC overlaminate is specifically engineered to be used with MetaCast MDC printable films. This matched cast construction helps reduce the risk of tunneling and delamination while protecting printed graphics from abrasion, weathering and everyday exposure.

Printing and Laminating Recommendations
Always perform a test print and confirm the correct printer profile, ink compatibility and heater settings before production. Allow printed media to cure completely before lamination and installation.
For solvent and eco-solvent printing, Metamark recommends allowing a minimum of 48 hours for the inks to outgas before overlaminating or applying the graphic. Heavy ink coverage and dark, saturated colors may require additional drying time. The overlaminate should be applied using a cold laminator.
Some UV inks may not be suitable for conformable vehicle wrap applications. Always confirm ink flexibility and compatibility before production.
Installation Notes
This product is intended for professional dry application. Proper vehicle preparation, installation techniques, heating and post-heating procedures are required, particularly when applying the film into deep channels and recesses. The installer is responsible for determining the suitability of the film, print system, substrate and intended application.
Important: Outdoor durability and warranty coverage depend on the printing system, ink, exposure conditions, geographic location, surface orientation, preparation and installation. Refer to the current Metamark technical literature and warranty documentation before production and installation.
