Metamark MD-i-B is a premium 70-micron polymeric calendered printable vinyl featuring a permanent grey blockout adhesive. The grey adhesive improves opacity, reduces show-through from dark or strongly colored surfaces, and helps printed graphics maintain more accurate colors.
Designed for medium-term indoor and outdoor graphics on flat surfaces and simple curves, including vehicle graphics, signs, panels, and applications covering existing graphics.

Metamark MD-i-B is a premium white gloss polymeric calendered printable vinyl designed for medium-term signs, vehicle graphics, panels, and general printed graphic applications.
Its permanent grey pigmented adhesive provides increased opacity and helps prevent the underlying surface or previous graphics from showing through. This allows printed colors to remain cleaner and more accurate when the vinyl is installed over dark, brightly colored, or previously decorated surfaces.
The 70-micron polymeric face film delivers excellent print quality and a wide color gamut. Metamark MD-i-B is suitable for flat surfaces and simple curves and can be printed using solvent, eco-solvent, latex, and UV inks.

Printing and Installation Recommendations
Always perform a test print and verify the correct printer profile, ink limits, and heater settings before production. Allow the material to reach room temperature before printing and keep the print surface clean, dry, and free from dust and static.
For solvent and eco-solvent printing, allow a minimum of 24 to 48 hours for the printed vinyl to outgas before laminating or installing. Heavy ink coverage or certain environmental conditions may require additional drying time. Retained solvents can reduce adhesive performance.
Overlamination is recommended to improve abrasion resistance, extend printed color performance, and simplify handling during installation. The recommended matched overlaminate is the Metamark MetaGuard MG-i Series.
The installer should test the intended substrate before production. Metamark MD-i-B is not recommended for low-surface-energy materials such as polypropylene.
Important: Printed, processed, and custom-cut materials are not returnable. Product performance depends on proper printing, drying, storage, surface preparation, and installation.
