Product Description
Mactac IMAGin® WN628 WallNOODLE™ – 6 Mil Repositionable Matte White Semi-Rigid PVC – Short-Term Indoor Wall Poster Film, No Squeegee, No Laminate
Ultra-Low-Tack Repositionable Adhesive | Applies By Hand | 6-Month Design Life | Best-in-Family Fire Numbers — Flame Spread 15, Smoke Density 50
Mactac IMAGin® WN628 WallNOODLE™ is the lightest-touch film in the Mactac wall graphics family. A 6.0-mil matte white semi-rigid calendered PVC face with a removable and repositionable acrylic adhesive so low in tack that it goes up by hand — no squeegee, no heat, no installer crew — and lifts back off to be repositioned if the placement isn't right.
Peel adhesion is 0.85 lb/in at 24 hours. For scale, that's about 40% of the removable RO628 and roughly one-sixth of the permanent PN628. That number is the entire product: it's what makes the film repositionable, and it's also what sets the boundaries on how it can be used.
Mactac states that WallNOODLE is designed for smooth painted drywall poster applications and should not be used for full wall murals. The name suggests otherwise, so this catches people. For a multi-panel wall mural, use RO628 ROODLE (removable, up to 2 years) or PN628 Permanent Wall Noodle (permanent) instead.
Mactac specifically advises against overlaminating WallNOODLE. The adhesive is very low tack, and adding a laminate will most likely cause edge curl or outright graphic failure. If the job needs the scratch and chemical protection a laminate provides, WallNOODLE is the wrong material — not a material that needs a laminate added.

Printing Notes
Ink Saturation Ceiling
Maximum allowable ink saturation is 270%. Check total ink coverage in the file — and remember the unprinted border or edge gradient requirement above.
Pressroom Conditions
Print in a conditioned space at approximately 73°F and 50% RH. Solvent-printed images must be thoroughly dry before rolling for shipment; retained solvent shows up later as edge adhesion failure, and on a film with this little tack, edge adhesion has no margin to give.
Transport
Roll finished graphics image out at a minimum 6" core diameter. Since these graphics are unlaminated by design, make sure the print is fully dry and bagged. Avoid extreme temperature and humidity swings in transit and storage.
Installation — By Hand, Not By Squeegee
Removal
Start at a corner and carefully pry the film up. Pull back at a 90° angle to minimize stress on the paint underneath, keep the pull diagonal to the panel, and move slowly.
