Product Description
Double-Sided Window Advertising with Maximum Opacity
ASLAN WindowBlock DFP 25 is a specialty white-on-white blockout film developed for creating double-sided graphics on glass.
The highly opaque construction prevents the printed image on one side from showing through to the opposite side. This allows installers and sign shops to create clean, professional window displays with different graphics or messages facing indoors and outdoors.
For applications where the graphic needs to be viewed from outside while remaining protected inside the building, WindowBlock DFP 25 can be combined with a reverse-printed transparent digital printing film. This makes it possible to create double-sided advertising while keeping the complete installation on the inside of the glass, helping protect the graphics against vandalism and environmental exposure.
The approximately 7 mil / 180 micron PVC film can be printed using solvent, eco-solvent, UV-curable and latex printing systems, making it compatible with many common wide-format digital printers.

Why Use ASLAN WindowBlock DFP 25?
Traditional printable white vinyl can create problems when graphics are installed back-to-back on transparent glass. Images, colors and text from the opposite side may become visible through the material.
WindowBlock DFP 25 solves this problem with a highly opaque blockout layer.
This makes it possible to use the same glass surface for two completely different advertising messages without the graphics interfering visually with each other.
For example, a storefront could display:
Outside-facing graphic:
SALE – 20% OFF THIS WEEK
Inside-facing graphic:
THANK YOU FOR SHOPPING LOCAL
Both graphics can occupy the same window area while the blockout construction prevents one design from showing through the other.
Interior-Mounted Double-Sided Window Graphics
One of the most useful applications for WindowBlock DFP 25 is creating exterior-facing advertising that can remain installed inside the glass.
When combined with a reverse-printed transparent digital printing film, installers can build a double-sided graphic system that allows both sides of the glass to carry advertising while avoiding installation directly on the exterior window surface.
Benefits can include:
- Better protection against vandalism
- Reduced exposure to weather
- Easier installation
- Easier maintenance
- Cleaner storefront appearance
- Graphics protected behind the glass
Print Compatibility
ASLAN WindowBlock DFP 25 is suitable for printing with:
- Solvent
- Eco-solvent
- Latex
- UV-curable
- Screen printing inks
Always allow printed graphics to dry and cure properly before installation. Inadequately dried inks may negatively affect both the film and adhesive.
Cutting
WindowBlock DFP 25 is also suitable for digital cutting.
Because of the film's thicker construction, ASLAN recommends:
- Using sufficient cutting pressure
- Using a cutter blade designed for thicker materials
- Maintaining a minimum capital-letter height of approximately 20 mm

When wet-applied, temporary whitening of the adhesive may occur. This should disappear after several days depending on environmental conditions.
For wet installation, ASLAN recommends ASLAN TL10 application fluid.
The film can be removed from smooth surfaces even after extended periods of use.
Always test the material on the intended substrate and application before completing larger production installations.
