Product Description
Matte Anti-Graffiti Protection for Graphics & Public Surfaces
ASLAN MagicProtect Matt SL 99 is a specialty transparent matte protective film engineered to help protect digital prints and other surfaces against graffiti, dirt, stickers and everyday surface vandalism.
The film uses a specially developed repellent top coating that creates a lotus-like effect. Spray paint has difficulty adhering to the surface, helping prevent graffiti from developing into a permanent marking. On smooth surfaces, remaining paint residue can often be removed using water and a microfiber cloth.
The subtle matte finish helps the protective layer integrate naturally with printed graphics and surrounding surfaces without creating the high-gloss appearance associated with many traditional protective laminates.
MagicProtect Matt SL 99 can be used as a protective laminate over digital prints and is suitable for applications involving smooth surfaces as well as properly prepared rough surfaces.

Why Use MagicProtect Matt SL 99?
Traditional laminates primarily protect a print from abrasion, moisture and UV exposure. MagicProtect Matt SL 99 adds another level of protection by helping prevent paints and contaminants from establishing a strong bond with the surface.
On smooth substrates, graffiti residue can be cleaned from the film without the aggressive chemical cleaning normally associated with graffiti removal. For rough-surface installations, ASLAN recommends its MagicPro Cleaner.
This makes SL 99 particularly attractive for permanent graphics installed in areas where vandalism, stickers, dirt or repeated cleaning are ongoing concerns.

Cleaning & Maintenance
Because spray paints adhere only minimally to the specialized surface, dried paint residue on smooth substrates can generally be removed using a microfiber cloth.
For installations over rough surfaces, ASLAN recommends ASLAN MagicPro Cleaner.
Avoid hard brushes or aggressive mechanical cleaning methods that could damage the film's specialized top coating.
Installation Notes
MagicProtect Matt SL 99 may be installed using either a wet or dry application method.
Temporary whitening of the adhesive may occur following wet installation but should dissipate after several days depending on environmental conditions.
ASLAN recommends testing the film before installation on substrates with non-stick or specialty surface coatings.
When applying directly to rough surfaces, adhesive residue may remain following removal. For these applications, using SL 99 as a protective laminate over a digital print is recommended.
Always perform an adhesion and removability test before completing large installations.
