Product Description
ORACAL® 631 is the removable matte film interior sign work is built on. A 3 mil calendered face with a clear, water-based removable adhesive lets you pull graphics off most smooth, sealed surfaces cleanly for up to three years after application — no residue, no repaint, no callback from the property manager. The matte finish kills glare under office and retail lighting, so wall copy and lettering read cleanly instead of hot-spotting.
This is the production roll. 24" is the standard working width for wall graphics and plotter-cut lettering, and at 50 yards you get 300 square feet on a single core — a substantially lower cost per square foot than the 30 ft roll, with fewer core changes and less end-of-roll waste. If you run Black or White continuously, or you've won a multi-suite interior package, this is the size to buy. ORAFOL offers 631 in over 76 matte colors.

Application notes
- Mask with ORATAPE® HT55 or MT95, then transfer to a clean, smooth, fully cured surface.
- Surfaces must be free of dust, grease, and any contamination that would affect adhesion. Freshly painted or lacquered walls must be completely cured — not just dry to the touch — before application.
- Apply at 50°F or warmer. Higher humidity helps the water-based adhesive build bond, which is worth planning around on dry Southwest job sites.
- 631 is a flat-application film. It is not intended for rivets, corrugations, compound curves, or vehicle wraps.
- Shelf life is 2 years at 68°F and 50% RH. Store rolls suspended or on end, off concrete floors, and rotate stock on a bulk roll you'll be drawing from for months.
- Only need one job's worth? The 24" x 10 yard (30 ft) roll covers a single room without committing to a full master roll.
- ORACAL® 641 — economical permanent plotter film when the graphic isn't coming back down.
- ORACAL® 651 — intermediate calendered film for longer outdoor life and harder service.
- ORATAPE® HT55 / MT95 — the two application tapes ORAFOL recommends for 631.
