The 3M™ IJ170Cv3 Scotchcal™ Graphic Film boasts a 2 mil cast vinyl construction with a grey opaque, removable adhesive. The Comply™ adhesive channel system provides superior non-visible air release channels, allowing for effortless installation and ensuring a professional result every time.
This film is ideal for short to long-term removable fleet and vehicle graphics, as well as interior and exterior signs. With a 10-year outdoor durability, it offers exceptional performance even in challenging environmental conditions.
The 3M™ IJ170Cv3 Scotchcal™ Graphic Film features low initial tack, making it easy to snap up during installation. It offers excellent slideability, allowing for precise adjustments and alignment.
The film is designed without Controltac, offering a different adhesive system compared to the 3M™ IJ180Cv3 Controltac™ Graphic Film. The v3 pressure-sensitive adhesive with non-visible air-release channels ensures a seamless installation process.
Removal of the film is possible with heat and chemicals, although the removal process is not covered under warranty. Please exercise caution and always pre-test vinyl installation on vehicles to avoid any adverse or negative impact on sensors or other safety-related equipment.
The film is backed by a polyethylene-coated paper liner, ensuring protection during storage and ease of handling during installation.
For enhanced protection and longevity, 3M suggests laminating the 3M™ IJ170Cv3 Scotchcal™ Graphic Film with 3M 8518, 3M 8519, or 3M 8520 laminates. This combination further enhances the durability, visual impact, and protection against UV rays and environmental elements.
